After you’ve soaked the black beans overnight, drain them and rinse.
Combine beans, jalapenos, chicken broth, and all spices in a slow cooker. If you want to add the corn, onions, and red pepper to the recipe, then also combine those with everything else.
Cook on High for 4 hours. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 2 hours, or until you’re ready to eat.
(Optional) Top with sour cream and shredded cheese & ENJOY!
