  1. I’m not much of a soup person, but my girlfriend is and I think she would love this recipe. I’m going to print it out and make it for her. I’ll report back with the news.

  2. Katie says:

That recipe looks easy enough for me to do. With my kids always as my feet I need simple recipes. Sounds delicious too!

    • Andy says:

We’re big on simple recipes! It’s so nice to be able to throw something together (that’s healthy and tastes good!) without having to take 2 hours to prep it.

  3. Andy says:

Thanks everybody. The pictures don’t make it look as good as it really was!

@Cult – you know those soups in the can come with a ridiculous amount of sodium. Making it yourself is the way to go!

@Marina – it’s certainly a great way to fit in some vegetables and still make them taste delicious!

@ADP – it is definitely an easy recipe. The hardest part is chopping up the vegetables, but other than that is just doesn’t take much time.

  4. That looks so good and comforting. I love homemade soup but rarely make it. You made it look pretty easy though and I have all of those ingredients!

  5. Michelle says:

This looks so good! I would Gobble Gobble this up!

  6. CultOfMoney says:

That looks super tasty, and in fact I’ll be having something similar for lunch today. Of course mine will come out of a can instead of being the nice homemade stuff, but what are you gonna do? Thanks for the recipe, you’re always posting neat foods to try and make at home.

  7. Now I’m hungry! Looks great!

  8. Wow! I was just thinking about how to make this just a couple of days ago. I’ve never thought about making it with turkey, but I sure wouldn’t mind giving it a try. It looks delicious. I’m going to save this. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

  9. Marina K. Villatoro says:

Yummmy!!! I just did a vegetable soup for my family. Even picky eaters can enjoy that and I’m able to sneak in lots of good stuff.

I will try either turkey or chicken now for the extra flavor.

  10. That soup looks very good Andy. I could use a bowl of that right now to warm me up 🙂

  11. This looks so delicious. I love any kind of noodle soup, and turkey is a good low fat protein. Next time it rains I’m going to try this out.
